Like other celebrities, Ariel Winter weight loss has attracted much attention; there are many differing opinions about her weight loss secrets, but Ariel is clear about what she did to lose weight.
This article reveals the true story behind Ariel Winter weight loss and her workout strategy. Let’s get started!
Who is Ariel Winter?
Ariel Winter Workman is a 23-year-old American actress. She started acting in 2002 at the age of four. She is popular for the voice role of Princess Sophia in the children’s series Sophia the First. Her character in the TV comedy Modern Family also brings her to the limelight.
What did Ariel Winter do to lose weight?
Ariel is quite open about her weight loss story. She says her new medications helped her lose weight. According to Ariel Winter, her anti-depressant medications had prevented her from losing weight all these years, despite her routine workouts.
“For years I had been on anti-depressants that caused me to gain weight that I couldn’t lose no matter what I did. It was always frustrating for me because I wanted to get fit and feel like the work I was doing was paying off, but it never felt that way. I had accepted it and moved on. The change in medication instantly made me drop all the weight I couldn’t lose before by just giving me back a metabolism. While I feel better mentally with the change, it’s nice to work out and have your body actually respond, I want to gain a few pounds of muscle and get healthier.”
“My psychiatrist switched me from my previous anti-depressant that didn’t work and made me gain weight, to coke/meth!! Definitely not a new one that worked and regulated my metabolism. Coke/meth was a controversial decision, but she stands by it.”
At the moment, Ariel says she’s just trying to build her muscles and gain curves.
Ariel Winter’s diet
Unlike most weight loss tips, Ariel’s diet suggestion is different. For her, eating moderately is the key to healthy living, rather than abstinence from certain foods.
“I believe, you know, you eat everything that you want in moderation, you know, if you can, if you’re not allergic, whatever,”
“Anything you can in moderation I think it’s best, that way you’re not like, really wanting something you can’t have and like, you absolutely tell yourself you can’t have it when, you know, you probably could, just in moderation. If I can’t have something, if I’m told I can’t have it, I want it. Like, I can’t be without it.”
Ariel believes in moderation in anything one consumes; moderation and exercises to make up for the not-so-healthy cravings.
Ariel said;
“I also love to eat like, pasta and cheese and candy and all this stuff, so for me, I think it’s important for my actual health to go in and make sure that I’m exercising,”
She also admits her love for Mint chocolate chip ice cream.
“I tried it recently, and I just fell in love with it,” Winter said. “I go through stages like every three months, I pick a new favorite food and it’s currently mint chocolate chip ice cream. So I have six different companies of mint chocolate chip ice cream in my freezer currently.”
Even though we can’t recommend Ariel’s food choices, you can emulate her moderate eating habits.
Ariel Winter exercises
For Ariel, good health rather than weight loss is her primary motivation for working out.
“I think working out is really important for your physical health,” she said. “I think mental health is really important, but also, if you want to be healthy and while I am not the most excited to put my workout clothes on and go and do that, it is really nice, when you leave, you feel better…I just want to build muscle. My body changes all of the time and I think right now, it’s just, I want to build muscle.”
Like Ariel pointed, exercises are essential for optimum physical health. Consider making it a habit too.
For workouts, the actress does circuit training, cardio exercises, and strength training. Thanks to her fitness trainer, MackFit, who works side by side with her to ensure her fitness. And she’s satisfied with the outcome.
“I am never the most excitedddd person to go to the gym, but feeling healthier and seeing the work you put in pay off really makes it worth it ,” she wrote in her caption. “Also… @mackfittraininggym is a BOSS and keeps reminding me of my goals.”
Speaking about circuit training, MackFit has this to say;
“This workout could be done anywhere; it requires your own body weight and minimal equipment,”
“Ariel completes this circuit in the gym with a pair of MackFit Core Sliders that she also utilizes at home or while traveling.”
