Scrambled Eggs with Soft Cheese

Eggs are gentle, rich in protein, and versatile. Scrambled eggs are soft and require little effort to chew, making them ideal during braces treatment. You can enrich them with cheese for added flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 ounces soft cheese cream cheese or ricotta
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives optional

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat until melted.
  • Pour in the egg mixture and cook gently, stirring slowly with a spatula.
  • When eggs begin to set but are still slightly runny, add dollops of soft cheese.
  • Continue stirring until eggs are cooked through but still creamy and the cheese is partially melted.
  • Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped chives if desired, and serve immediately.
